Yoga and meditation have become an integral part of my life in the past ten years. Yoga has taught me to be present, compassionate towards myself and prepared for life's inevitable challenges.  I am passionate about supporting individuals find refuge in their bodies and a place to call home.  My 200 hour certification in teaching yoga began from the Awakened Heart, Embodied Mind school in Venice, CA.  This training incorporated basic principles of Hatha yoga, Buddhist Vipassana meditation, modern neuroscience and its intersection with somatic psychology.  My mental health background resonated with this type of training and the therapeutic aspects of yoga became clear to me through this training and a regular yoga practice.

I enjoy empowering individuals to explore on the yoga mat.  I believe that habits that show up on the mat are metaphors for habits that show up in your life.  The yoga mat becomes a safe space to reconnect with your authentic self and face our joys and fears.  Sessions will be tailored to fit your individual needs which can vary from gentle flow, deep stretches, meditation, journaling, and time to process feelings that may arise through the practice.
